// Dear Hamburg, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Luxembourg

November 30th, 2010

We have made it back safe and sound to Manchester after our European adventures. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us , bought t-shirts, bags and cds or just said Bonjour/ Guten tag. Another big thanks to Tokyo Police club and their crew for having us and making us feel welcome and and being brilliant. Here are photos to document the last few weeks. (taken mainly by Gemma on her big camera and some by the rest of us on our phones).

// A QUICK UPDATE FROM PARIS

November 19th, 2010

Just got to the hotel after soundcheck in Paris and got some wifi for a quick update. Thanks to everyone who came to the Hamburg and Brussels gigs, especially the gents who drove for four hours from Holland to see us last night. The gigs have been great and Tokyo Police Club have been awesome. Off for some Parisian food before we play again tonight, we have our own show at Bus Paladium so will be on stage around 10.30 then a day off in Paris tomorrow before we meet up with Tokyo Police club in Colone on Sunday.

More detailed update coming soon,

//ANIMALS TOUR VIDEO

November 5th, 2010

As you may know Martin and Ben recently conducted a bit of an experiment and had a go at remixing one of our own songs ‘Animals’. As you may not know i am the chief film documenter for the band and often put together little videos of our adventures just for fun (see our youtube channel). Anyway, i thought the remix would make the perfect backing track to the footage i had collected from our mini UK tour last week . I kind of wanted to make it feel like a day on the road…it starts off all dreamy and hazy and slow paced (think waking up with a hangover, being bundled into a van and travelling for hours) and as the day goes on the pace picks up (as the hangover wears off and you start to feel more human) until it all starts to whizz by (the adrenalin of being onstage and the inevitable partying after) only to be repeated all again the next day. And i thought i’d throw in some cheeky stop animation style stuff with the lyrics just for the hell of it. Anyway i had fun making it and i hope you all enjoy it!
